Dr. Bassem Malaeb

Dr Bassem
Dr Bassem Malaeb is a radiologist, obtained his MD from University of Balamand, Diagnostic Radiology from Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging from American University of Beirut and Masters in Neuroimaging from Lebanese University.
Dr Malaeb was Chairman at the Lebanese University and graduate Instructor at American University of Science and Technology in Lebanon before moving to UAE.
He has broad experience and practiced in Lebanon (university hospitals) and UAE (Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi). Currently, he is the Medical Director of Doctors Center Policlinic, Dubai and part time at Harley Street Medical Center, Abu Dhabi.
Dr Malaeb has a wide range of expertise as follow: - Conventional radiology; including mammography, Fluoroscopic procedures (upper GI, Barium enema, Sialography, hysterosalpingography, urethrogram, etc)
- Ultrasound: thyroid, breast, abdomen, male/female pelvis, endovaginal, endorectal, soft tissues, scrotal and penile Doppler
- CT scan: including Cardiac CT, enterography and CBCT
- MRI: brain including spectroscopy/DTi, spine and joints, abdomen, female pelvis, breast, prostate, enterography and defecography
Dr Malaeb has good communication skills used with patients to explain their conditions as with physicians to discuss patients’ critical positive findings.

I obtained my Bachelors in medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I then went on to complete basic surgical training in Ireland and obtained IMRCS. During that time I was also an Anatomy Demonstrator at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I did my radiology training at University College London Hospital and my breast radiology training at Macmillan cancer Center and Northwick Park Hospital. I was an NHS Consultant Breast Radiologist at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals before moving back to Dubai.

Dr. Faten Khalil is a Radiology Specialist with medical experience in Dubai and Lebanon. She graduated from The Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences - Specialization Certificate in Radiology. Dr. Faten Khalil is a member of the Lebanese Society of Radiology / International Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) / French Society of Radiology (SFR) and European Society of Radiology

Dr. Khodr ISSA, who holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Lorraine University, France, currently serves as the Head of the Molecular/Genetics Diagnostics and Flow Cytometry Platform at Doctors Center Polyclinic (DCP) in Dubai, UAE. His distinguished career includes roles as a senior Clinical Scientist at the PRISM Laboratory in Lille, France, where he focused on proteomics and mass spectrometry related to inflammatory responses, and as Head of the Molecular/Genetics Diagnostics Department at Doctors' Center Laboratory in Beirut, Lebanon. Additionally, he has worked as a Clinical Project Manager at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and completed a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in nanotechnology and resistance research in Manchester, England. With over 11 years of expertise, Dr. Issa is recognized for his comprehensive experience in designing and conducting molecular and genetic tests for disease screening and diagnosis. His skills encompass immunotherapy development (specifically CAR therapy for cancer), proficient handling of human biological samples, and the use of advanced techniques including Flow Cytometry, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), real-time PCR, and molecular hybridization. He possesses strong proficiency in clinical data analysis and result interpretation, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in patient diagnostics. Dr. Issa is adept at strategic planning, optimizing laboratory processes, and incorporating innovative technologies to enhance productivity. He is committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment, driving motivation and effective teamwork. Authoring over 28 publications in top-tier scientific journals, Dr. Issa has made notable contributions to oncology and cancer therapy. His research has emphasized the development of preclinical orthotopic tumor models, advancements in molecular imaging, and studies in molecular pathophysiology. Additionally, he has pioneered innovative molecular pharmacology techniques involving nanoparticle systems, underscoring his dedication to transformative cancer research and treatment.

Dr. Chantal Mehanna is a specialist in periodontics with over 12 years of experience. She received both her DDS degree and her specialty degree from the Saint-Joseph university located in Beirut, Lebanon. She is a member of the Lebanese Society of Periodontology in Beirut and part of the ITI section Middle East. She is very keen on providing the highest standards of patient care and comfort coupled with cutting edge surgical technology. Dr. Mehanna is highly dedicated and focused on upgrading her knowledge and skills. She is acutely aware of every publication and medical journal that delves into avant-garde technological innovations in the area of periodontics.
